How do you spend your free time?
I spend my free time talking or texting on my cell phone or reading and sending e-mails with family and friends, or being the "best grandma ever" to my 4-year-old grandson.
What is the best way to make you laugh?
What makes me laugh is listening to my grandson about all the things he "knows", watching him grow up, doing " it" all, playing the backyard sport activities with him, and reading stories from e-mails about senior citizens (I keep saying that I’m very far, far away from that age in my attitude and ability, Thank You Lord!!)
What memory will you always cherish?
The memory that I will cherish is that of my mom, she passed away 5 1/2 years ago, she would stay in contact with her 10 siblings, visiting them, writing letters and sending photos of us , taking her baked "goods", meals or snacks, enough for all of us who were able to go with her and dad. She always had a flower, fruit and vegetable garden that I often received the rewards of God's handiwork. We were blessed to have had 8 children to share her love, giving of her time and talent in her cooking as well as in her singing and playing the guitar.
Who would you love to meet?
I would love to meet Linda Ronstadt (Mexican music singer/writer), I read an article about her in Sunday’s newspaper . I heard a lot of Spanish music while growing up.
What is your most irrational fear?
The most irrational fear would be to not be able to talk or be with my family and friends.
